CloverETL 4.2 Milestone released

May 12, 2016

We are proud to announce the release of "early bird" milestone of CloverETL 4.2.

In this release we’re focusing on productivity improvements. This milestone brings changes that let you use standard third-party version control tools (Git, SVN, …) for Server projects straight in Designer.

This enables better team cooperation and simplifies management and deployment of projects onto the CloverETL Server. We’ve compiled a short video that describes the changes in more details.

Besides a bunch of useful improvements in Designer, we have added support for new Hadoop versions CDH 4.3 and 5.4, improved connectivity to Amazon S3, fully transitioned to Java 8, and added useful options to some components.

Be sure to check out the full release notes!

Please note, milestones are generally available versions for those who want to test drive new functionality before we put it into fully supported production releases.
