Prerequisities

For executing data transformations designed in the Designer, you need:

• Java 1.5 or higher
• Eclipse platform version 3.4/3.3 (The Eclipse Platform lies at the bottom of the page. Choose the proper version for your OS.

The latest version of Designer is NOT compatible with older Eclipse version 3.1/3.2

If you are using Eclipse 3.3, you will also need to install GEF Eclipse plugin, GEF installation instructions can be found on the GEF Developer FAQ page

Evaluate CloverETL Designer

CloverETL Designer is an Eclipse plugin and can be downloaded through Eclipse's update mechanism. The CloverETL Designer update site for evaluation version is located at http://www.clovergui.net/eval-update/. You will need a user name and password to connect to the site which you will obtain after a registration. Detailed installation instructions can be found in the installation guide or in pdf (for CloverGUI 2.2.x)

CloverETL Designer plugin contains the newest release of CloverETL Engine, so it is not necessary to download the engine separately.

Please note that this CloverETL Designer version is time limited (will expire in approx. 1 month after installation).

Licensed version

Licensed version can be downloaded from the site http://www.clovergui.net/update/ using a user name and password sent in an email after purchasing a license and following steps in the installation guide.
