Chapter 1. Creating a Project and a Graph

After you have downloaded, installed and configured CloverETL Designer, you must create a new project. To do that, select File → New → CloverETL Project from the main menu:

Type the name of the project. Here we use the Project_01 name.

After creating a new project, you must create a new graph. To do that, select File → New → ETL Graph from the main menu:

You must give a name to the graph. We choose Project_01_example as the graph name. CloverETL Designer gives it the .grf extension automatically.

When you click the Next button, you will be prompted to select the folder for your graph. CloverETL Designer offers the graph subfolder.
