Dynamic Edge Buffers – No More Size Limits
for Data Records

Nowadays large documents, unstructured data, or files are often stored as one data record in a database field. This poses several processing challenges. CloverETL 3.2 addresses them with a dynamic edge buffer approach - memory allocation is done automatically based on incoming data record without a need to know its size beforehand. CloverETL now works with large data objects without hassle.

LDAP User Management – Closer to
Corporate IT

CloverETL 3.2 Server now supports user, group, and permission management through LDAP. As many companies use LDAP as general user storage, CloverETL now enables them to incorporate CloverETL user management into their current IT infrastructure.

CloverETL Designer Transform Editor

Transformation Editor Enhancements

With the enhanced drag and drop feature, it is now easier for CloverETL users to correctly map input and output fields. The expression editor allows efficient search in the function list. And for clarity, we introduced in-and-out variables to quickly distinguish between input and output ports in the transformation source editor.

Field Labels – Better Clarity in Naming
Metadata Fields

CloverETL 3.2 Designer introduces a simple but powerful feature that enables a more descriptive field label in addition to the current field. While only a limited set of characters for field names is possible, there are now no restrictions for field labels and all international characters are allowed. This is especially important for complex data structures like HL7, EDI, Cobol.

Designer Activation – No More Multiple Downloads

CloverETL 3.2 Designer introduces a new product activation method. Before, you needed to download your customer-specific build of the Designer. For example, if a company had 10 licenses of Designer, they had to download it 10 separate times. With 3.2, now only one generic copy of CloverETL Designer is needed-- one that can be unlocked and activated with user specific license keys.

Cluster Licencing – Choose What Works
Best For You

With a new simplified set-up for Cluster licensing, a license is now counted towards a shared CPU cores pool, with nodes grouped according to the users' discretion. For example: With the same 16 core license you can setup - either two 8-core nodes in a cluster or four 4-core nodes in a cluster or one 16-core node in a cluster.
