What's New in CloverETL 3.0
The next generation offers significant performance boost and sensational increase in user-friendly effectiveness. CloverETL 3.0 represents one of the most powerful, effective and flexible data integration environments on the market.
CloverETL 3.0 runs on Java 6 or higher
Engine CTL2 – New Generation of CTL Language
CTL, a powerful transformation language used in many CloverETL components has been reworked with performance and ease-of-use in mind. Transformations can now run in compiled mode which gives speed improvement by up to 50%. CTL2 is now also strongly typed language which makes coding more effective and cleaner.
However, with backward compatibility in mind, existing transformations written in the previous CTL will work without trouble.

Server Distributed Transformation Processing
Single transformation workload can be distributed among multiple nodes in a cluster set up. This can significantly boost processing speed for certain transformations. Special cluster components ( ClusterPartitioner and ClusterGather) to control data flow were designed for these purposes.
Server Server Modularity
The CloverETL Server is adhering to standards of the OSGi architecture. Server functionality can be extended by user-built custom plug-ins making now not only the Engine but also the Server a perfect fit for embedding it into your own solutions and products.
Designer Fact Table Loader Wizard
Data warehouse managers will find this wizard helpful as it eases creating graphs for loading data into fact tables.

Designer Data Dictionary
Data dictionary is a tool for transparent data exchange between a graph and other systems making it an ideal tool for systems integration. Though it has been already available in the CloverETL Engine before, data dictionary can now be easily managed from the Designer.

Designer Improved graphical tools
Edges in complex transformation graphs with a big number of components could become really messy. With the new version this is not true anymore. Now you can manually drag all edges and make graphs much cleaner and easier to design. Also, metadata propagation is automatic for new edges so for most cases you can just draw your graph!
Designer Quick learning curve
Getting started with Clover has never been easier. Clover comes packed with real-life easy to understand examples, Quick Start Guide covering most of Clover basics with articles, videos and examples and ever more examples available for download. With this all at your hands, starting with Clover is easy as child's play.
Server New Sandbox URL
Data on the Server can now be accessed via unified URL scheme which brings ease of handling files located on diverse file systems and locations.
